Statutory Testing 2024-25

Summer Term is the term for statutory testing in year 1,  year 4 and year 6.  The assessments must be completed within a certain time period in school.  Meetings will take place for Key Stage 2 SATS to inform parents about these.

Year 1 will take a Phonics Screening check, this will decide if the children have met the expected standard in decoding. 
This is a short assessment which is carried out by the teacher and pupil on a one to one basis.  Children decode and read a number of words to do this.  This will take place during the on the week beginning Monday 9th June 2025

Year 4 will take part in a Multiplication Tables check, this will begin on 2nd June and should be completed within a 2 week period.

Year 6 have more formal testing from the 12th-15th May.  The timetable is as follows.
